Our story began in 2010, when we discovered a derelict nursery on eight beautiful acres of land in Burpengary, just north of Brisbane. We instantly recognised what it could be.
We demolished the untended infrastructure and archaic irrigation systems. We pulled up weeds, dug trenches, poured concrete and built walls. Nature was on our side. The ferocious wet season filled the dam to its brim.
We assembled a skilled and passionate team and, at the beginning of 2011, Instant Green commenced potting. After half a year of hard work, the new nursery began to bloom.
Now it’s thriving. Our sheds and growing beds share their space with a large dam and natural flora and fauna. Over eighty percent of our growing beds are concrete-based, a more hygienic growing space than dirt or gravel-based beds, providing superior drainage and irrigation systems. Our state-of-the-art water treatment facility and transfer delivery pumps ensure an environmentally conscious irrigation process.
A passion for plants has transformed a once derelict nursery into an outstanding nursery now known as Instant Green, a member of the NGIQ.
Our aim is to be the best and we know we can be, because at Instant Green we are not just growing plants, we are growing a dream.
